Processing Operator III

About the role

We are looking for a Processing Operator III to join our BASF Agricultural Solutions team in Parma, ID.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all standard operating procedures and accredited procedures (NAL) in accordance with Processing Management in order to ensure Processing standards and global standardization are maintained.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities on the work floor.
• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures in accordance with corporate, local, state and federal mandates to ensure regulatory compliance, as well as understand and perform good housekeeping practices for all assigned areas of responsibility to achieve a safe work environment.
• Pass lift truck/reach truck training and safely use these as directed to move seed or other materials.
• Execute a part of the processes within PRC sub-department.
• Train new employees in departmental processes.

Requirements

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have 2+ years of manufacturing and/or agricultural operations or other related experience.
• Able to gain certification (internal training) to operate a forklift and/or reach truck safely and competently.
• Have intermediate computer/MS Office skills, for basic usage and understanding of Excel formulas.
• SAP experience, preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing and/or agricultural operations or other related experience.
• Ability to pass lift truck/reach truck training and safely operate these vehicles.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office.
• SAP experience, preferred.
