Processing Operator (3rd Shift) - Sensible

About the role

The Processing Operator (PO) is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining fryer, seasoning, and raw pellet blending equipment to ensure product safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Selects and sets the correct formula and processing parameters for the equipment.
• Makes necessary installations, adjustments, and fine-tunes the equipment to meet current specifications.
• Monitors the equipment continuously and makes adjustments as needed.
• Communicates with quality control and maintenance personnel as required.
• Ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP principles, and critical control points.
• Completes assigned documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintains appropriate levels of mixed raw materials.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity to manipulate machine parts and controls.
• Effective communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic reading and speaking ability in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Understanding and endorsement of GMP product protection regulations.
• Safe working practices.
• Forklift certification within two weeks of employment.
