Processing Apprentice Operator, 3rd shift, $22.65/hr

About the role

Operate Processing machines within the Processing Team as a Flex operator across various positions. This role requires rotating through positions, covering breaks, and operating as the schedule demands, including potential coverage as a Utility driver. Night Owl Shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up, adjust, and operate processing machines such as mixer, laminator, oven, and scaler.
• Rotate positions, give breaks, and operate as schedule requires.
• Maintain area in good housekeeping order, complete required paperwork, and perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Participate as a team member to accomplish training and cover schedules.
• Support and participate in the preventive maintenance program.
• Comply with food safety procedures and follow plant GMPs.
• Heavy lifting will be required.
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• Must have obtained a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of the role.
• Preferred to have production line manufacturing experience or food service and food handling experience.

Pay

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $22.65. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
