Processed Meat Manager
About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. With over 40 full-service supermarkets, this position is available in Suamico, WI.
Responsibilities
- Lead the processed meats area, overseeing stocking, rotation, and merchandising.
- Ensure quality and freshness of products.
- Create displays to keep processed meats organized and appealing.
- Support and guide the team, setting clear expectations and reinforcing performance standards.
- Help guests find what they need, answering questions and recommending options.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate pricing.
- Maintain a clean workspace, supporting food safety.
- Meet daily department goals, ensuring product availability and full displays by 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. every day.
Requirements
- High School Education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- WI Certified Food Manager License (Festival to reimburse if obtained while employed).
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others.
- Great oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of technology and the use of a computer.
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and associates.
- Knowledge and understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
- Physical demands and work environment require standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination.
- Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
- Functional sensory abilities required to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment.

Pay
Hourly associates are paid weekly, with a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
Schedule
The Processed Meat Manager is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
