Process Technician In-Training (AIT)

About the role

Sterilite, the largest plastic housewares company in North America, is seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Process Technician In-Training (AIT) at our Clinton, SC location. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment to ensure high-quality product output.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines, molds, materials, and color issues.
• Inspect product quality and make proper repairs or adjustments.
• Adjust and repair auxiliary equipment.
• Take last shots and set-ups for jobs ending during assigned shift.
• Respond to inspector/packer requests, check cycles, and adjust as needed.
• Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work for supervised inspector/packers and floor employees.
• Report and take corrective action when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work 12-hour shifts in alternating 3- and 4-day work cycles.
• Knowledge of die setting, plastic injection molding processing, robotics, and control systems preferred.
• Supervisor experience is a plus.
• Must pass a drug test.
