Process Technician I
About the Role
As a Process Technician I at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards, executing cylinder preparation, handling, filling, and shipping & receiving functions, and ensuring efficient stock and sales order flow.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a vigilant focus on safety, conforming to site-specific and Linde policies and procedures.
- Execute a variety of processes related to cylinder preparation, handling, filling, and shipping & receiving functions.
- Perform SAP transactions to ensure efficient stock and sales order flow.
- Handle tasks related to stock and sales order realization, including cylinder requisition and data management.
- Collect and record basic Operations data to optimize processes and ensure product quality.
- Support maintenance of raw material and product inventory, reviewing specifications for conformity.
- Provide feedback or participate in potential HPO projects related to operational processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform basic Algebra and unit conversions.
- Fit to perform duties where respirators are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
