Process Technician, Contract - Day or Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
• Performs set up of processing equipment.
• Maintains and provides guidance to line operators.
• Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering.
• Identifies yield problems or tests new products with technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.

Requirements

• Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree; or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree; completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

• Duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places.
• May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• May require the application of proper industry safety procedures when working with dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
• Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities and customer locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of military technical training and field experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills

• Technical aptitude.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds.
• Bending/stooping/crawling/climbing.
