Process Operator / Wastewater Technician

Nutrition 101 is an industry leader in recovering food waste and converting it into valuable livestock feed. Based in Pendleton, Indiana, our team helps food processors reduce waste while supporting sustainable agriculture. Every year, our work helps recover millions of tons of food byproducts and transform them into useful products for livestock producers. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems, including filtration and processing equipment
• Maintain and support operation of the Superfilter and related systems
• Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
• Monitor system readings (pH levels, flow rates, etc.) and respond to changes or abnormalities
• Track and record operational data accurately
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation processes (CIP) of equipment
• Support other production or plant operations as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor systems and identify issues
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow processes and respond to changing conditions
• Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment

• Operating and monitoring equipment and systems throughout the shift
• Standing and moving for extended periods
• Working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Exposure to noise, odors, and industrial conditions
• Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
