Process Operator (Fri-Sun 5:30pm-6:00am)

About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day

• Set-up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment using CNC controls for multiple operations to include but not limited to machining (Horizontal Boring Machines, Laser Drillers, 5-axis milling machines), bonding process, heat treatment, manual machining and hand tools, etc.
• Must have the ability to wear a respirator and pass a Machining/Process Operator Competency Test.

• Required to lift / move 50lbs of materials
• Interpret detailed drawings/sketches, blueprints, manufactures specifications, etc., and figure out necessary tools to perform required machining operations
• Using material handling devices (Jib & B/C cranes and forklifts), loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.
• Follows Siemens established procedures to operate machinery and equipment.

What You Bring

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC operations, including machining, laser applications, and coating machines
• Valid fork truck/crane license (or ability to obtain immediately upon selection) and Career Readiness / Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status
• Proficient in CNC operation, including loading/unloading workpieces, interpreting complex drawings, and performing advanced metrology
• Strong shop math skills and ability to follow QA protocols
• Ability to wear a respirator and successfully complete required hearing, vision, pulmonary function tests, and Process Operator Competency Test
