About the role
ERCO Worldwide is seeking a Process Operator to join our Production team. Reporting to the Process Manager, this role involves the safe and efficient operation of the sodium chlorate process. Key responsibilities include operating process systems and equipment, taking corrective actions, preparing equipment for inspections, directing unloading of salt trucks, performing minor repairs, and maintaining plant safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Takes corrective action when necessary to maintain operation within acceptable limits.
- Regulates, observes, and records relevant operational parameters.
- Prepares equipment for inspection or repairs by isolating, draining, degassing, and testing.
- Operates mobile equipment like fork trucks and railcar movers.
- Maintains plant housekeeping and adheres to safety standards.
- Participates in inspection and observation programs as directed.
Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing in chemical, pulp and paper, and food processing industries.
- Safety-oriented mindset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors, stand for shifts, lift, and climb stairs.
- Pass pre-hire physical and drug screen.

Pay
The starting hourly rate is $23.71, with an advancement to $31.66 per hour. Shifts are based on a 12-hour rotating schedule, with the potential for overtime eligibility.
