About the Company

AGP (Ag Processing Inc) is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting oilseeds, grains, and related products. Since its creation in 1983, AGP has grown into the largest soybean processing cooperative in the world, with a diverse set of products including renewable fuels, vegetable oil refining, ag products/grain, and international operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery, adjust controls, and observe equipment operations.
• Collect samples using standard operating procedures.
• Maintain log of gauge readings and shift production.
• Clean production area and perform periodic routine maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Available to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Basic math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Detail-oriented and able to make good decisions.
• Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
