Pay: Based on experience starting at $25.40/hour plus a $1.50/hour shift premium.

Schedule

  • Shift: 3rd (Nights)
  • Schedule: Sunday night through Friday
  • Hours: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (must be flexible pending business needs)

About the Role

Process Machine Operator – Floater is the backup to the Production Coordinator and production lead as needed. Responsible for product and machine rebuilds, changeovers, quality checks, cleaning-in-place (CIP), and continuous improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Backup to the Production Coordinator and Production Lead as needed
  • Ensure operational efficiency, conformance to standards, product quality, and drive continuous improvement
  • Responsible for the efficient production of quality products
  • Operate, monitor, and perform changeovers and rebuilds on machinery
  • Train and assist other associates as needed, supporting Production Coordinators and the Maintenance team
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks and keep detailed logbooks
  • Perform any ad hoc requests

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Basic analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient using laptops, iPads, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)

Physical Requirements

  • Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10–50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50–300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
  • Capable of working in hot, cold, and wet conditions
  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Degree or Certification
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Weever software experience
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience
  • Maintenance knowledge or capabilities
  • Forklift experience
