Process Engineering Technician (Nights)

About the role

Sustain the EPI and Implant modules by reviewing and dispositioning aberrant lots, troubleshooting process issues, and providing manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom. Monitor production line health by reviewing and responding to SPC-based process trends. Identify root causes of process deviations and implement effective corrective actions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process control, yield, and cost efficiency. Write, revise, and maintain technical specifications and procedures. Lead training and developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition aberrant lots in EPI and Implant modules
• Troubleshoot process issues and provide manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom
• Monitor production line health by reviewing and responding to SPC-based process trends

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for process control, yield, and cost efficiency

Requirements

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially in a high-volume production facility
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing processes
• Familiarity with basic SPC concepts, methods, and terminology
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• 2-year or 4-year degree in a technical discipline (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials
• Wafer fabrication experience or familiarity with semiconductor processing and cleanroom experience

Schedule

Nights: 2, Thu-Sat and alternating Wed, 6pm-6am (3rd Shift)

Pay

The expected wage range for this position is $28 to $35 per hour. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus based on personal and company factors.
