Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree or technical training in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role is required.
- A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment is necessary.
- A strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- The ability to learn ERP/MES systems is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Support process engineers in the development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust production processes, parameters, and equipment to meet specifications.
- Collect, analyze, and document process data (cycle times, scrap, yield, downtime, etc.).
- Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support new product introductions, trials, and process validations.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and visual standards.
- Perform time studies, capability studies, and basic statistical analysis.
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting on the production floor.
