Process Engineering Technician - 1st Shift

About the role

Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the Process Engineering Technician provides support to the process engineers and departments to ensure production goals and productivity improvements are met. This person will provide technical and administrative aid such as data collection, data entry and filing. As a key resource, the Process Engineering Technician will help review existing and new manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and processes. This is a prominent role that promotes a safe environment and supports process improvements related to safety, and customer quality requirements including environmental and ergonomics. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost reduction and productivity improvements through the support of continuous improvement (value stream) projects such as validating and improving process capabilities, including new part and ECO approvals.
• Perform A3 root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
