Process Engineering Manager

About the role

Located just 23 minutes north of Memphis, Tennessee, our client is a global chemical manufacturer seeking a hands-on Process Engineering Manager to lead process improvement initiatives and support capital projects. If you’re a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys being boots on the ground, jumping in to solve problems, and leading by example, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for process improvement
• Develop and implement cost-effective engineering solutions
• Supervise outside contractors and employees involved in project activities
• Manage capital and major maintenance projects
• Work closely with operations and other cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering; other engineering degrees may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience managing capital projects
• Strong hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
• No visa sponsorship is available for this position

Pay

$130,000 - $135,000
