Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop expert level process knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Proactively identify process constraints and opportunities for improvement
- Analyze data and apply problem-solving techniques to facilitate design improvements for processes, systems, and/or equipment
- Lead and facilitate actions to resolve equipment constraints and challenges as appropriate
- Provide technical on-floor support during equipment downtime and production issues
- Cookordination with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Support project FAT/SAT execution, commissioning and qualification
- Ensure proper documentation, backups, and change management processes
- Aid with capital and expense project planning, budgeting, and timelines
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Support Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and operational excellence initiatives
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 3+ years of engineering technical support experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems
- Experience supporting high-speed automated manufacturing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in food, beverage or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
- Experience with automated processing and packaging systems
- Knowledge of batch systems and process automation
- Experience with OEE and manufacturing data systems
- Knowledge of OSHA and machine safety standards
