Process Engineer - TAD Paper Machine
Key Responsibilities
- Drive process optimization to improve efficiency, output, and overall equipment performance
- Develop and enhance process monitoring tools and reporting using data historian systems
- Lead process trials from concept through execution, analysis, and implementation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Safety teams
- Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and support safety initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to proactive safety improvements on the Paper Machine
- Support capital projects and process enhancements to improve long term operational performance
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and communication of process improvements
- Support daily operations and provide technical guidance as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Experience in a paper mill or process engineering role preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Experience with data historian systems or process monitoring tools preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related systems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive process improvements
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross functional team
