Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supports manufacturing through process control, improvement initiatives, and assumes direct responsibility for integrity of assigned products.
• Quoted new developmental parts, attends to process engineering concerns for developmental parts, assists with obtaining new business, works to improve existing processes, develops and uses new technologies, and provides technical support to Howmet Aerospace, Wichita Falls.
• Conducts metallurgical studies to support the organization in the areas of product quality, failure analysis, and determination of root cause.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgy from an accredited institution.
• Basic Qualifications: Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred Qualifications: 3 years' experience in Engineering in a Manufacturing Environment, experience working in a Casting environment, previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment or lab environment, strong verbal, written, and analytical skills, knowledge of MS Office, ability to work in a self-directed or team environment, good organizational skills, knowledge of Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and scientific methods for problem solving.
