About the role

This position is responsible for the education and experience outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Educational background in EE, ME, or other physical/chemical sciences with a minimum of a BS degree.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience in the fabrication of semiconductor and/or thin film devices.
  • Knowledge of thin film fabrication processes, equipment failure analysis, and thin film equipment component upgrade/modification.
  • High-vacuum tool operation and troubleshooting/repair.
  • Photolithography process experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Experience and knowledge on Statistical Process Control.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the organization.
  • Experience with AutoCAD (a plus).

  • Mechanical design.
  • Computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Transform designs into processes that improve chip yield.
  • Waste Water Treatment Certification, Hazardous Material Training.
  • Test Equipment Set up, Operation and Troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to analyze wafer measurements and resolve issues related to measurements that are out of process capability.
  • Solve problems in a timely and quality manner.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and handle multiple programs and priorities.
