Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams including owner, design team, and trade partners with an integrated approach to achieving scope, schedule and budget alignment
• Responsible for establishing an integrated team experience through role clarity, effective communication strategy, and facilitating a culture that fosters collaboration
• Facilitate and collaborate with internal departments and project teams
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during design, construction, commissioning, and start-up
• Facilitate design/engineering and decision planning with the construction team, design team, and owner
• Manage, mentor and guide design team members and preconstruction team members to ensure clear direction and execution
• Manage, mentor and guide design assist trade partners to ensure effective integration with the project team
• Work with project teams to develop conceptual process design/engineering solutions for industrial pursuits
• Review design team’s specifications, drawings, and P&IDs
• Ensure design meets owner’s needs, quality, and program

Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or other equivalent field
• Skills: Strong CAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Revit capability
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, 4+ years experience in group facilitation and implementing collaborative delivery, specific experience in industrial management design, process layout, process design, cleanroom, food and beverage, packaging
• Knowledge: Passionate about leading change and improving industry processes, strong organizational and project management skills, ability and willingness to travel, ability and desire to master new skills
