Process Engineer

We are seeking a Process Engineer with manufacturing experience to support process improvements, production efficiency, and capital projects in a metal fabrication environment. Key Requirements 2-5 years of experience in Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial EngineeringExperience with metal fabrication and/or welding processes is requiredStrong understanding of manufacturing process improvement and lean principlesExperience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsAbility to perform time studies, cycle time analysis, and capacity planningExperience supporting or leading CapEx projectsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Responsibilities Improve and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce wasteSupport production through process troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop process layouts, work instructions, and standard operating proceduresConduct data analysis, time studies, and workflow evaluationsLead or support equipment and facility improvement projectsWork alongside production, quality, and safety teams to improve operationsDrive lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives Preferred Qualifications Experience with welding, fabrication, machining, or heavy manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD softwareProject management experienceLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to grow their career in a hands-on manufacturing environment with a strong focus on metal fabrication, welding, and process improvement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, LA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
