Responsibilities

• Develop processes and equipment to introduce new products into manufacturing sites, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective results.
• Identify, develop, characterize, optimize, and validate new process and equipment technologies.
• Establish efficient production line layouts or lead process improvements to existing plant operations as part of a new product introduction team.
• Perform estimations of production times, staffing requirements, and related costs.
• Adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements, including QMS, FDA regulations, and company policies.
• Work independently with occasional guidance to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Review procedures and plans prior to implementation; evaluate existing products, processes, and materials for failure analysis and potential improvements.
• Participate in projects to investigate, develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies of moderate complexity.
• Plan, schedule, and execute engineering work as part of a major project or lead smaller scope projects.
• Apply standard data analysis practices to establish root cause for product and process failures or support improvements.
• Observe products and processes to recognize discrepancies and follow operations to establish root cause.
• Collaborate with others, ask questions, and check for understanding to support your development as an engineer.
• Champion the development and deployment of systems and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Embrace Manufacturing Excellence culture through strategy alignment, leadership of sustained change, standardization, associate engagement, and systems optimization.
• Perform other duties as needed and directed by supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Candidates without the education requirement may be considered with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid technical aptitude with the ability to contribute effectively to a team or produce technical results individually.
• Functional understanding of Integer’s Quality Management Systems and ability to complete required documentation tasks with minimal direction.
• Competency in both written and oral communications.
• Maintain a calm demeanor in a high-energy, constantly changing production environment.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a belief that failure is not an option.

How You Will Be Measured

• Active support of Integer’s Environmental Health & Safety programs.
• Achievement of site Quality KPIs.
• Defined goals and objectives with key projects and expected milestones.
• Identification of ways to shorten project durations and improve current processes for greater efficiency.
• Generation and implementation of continuous improvement suggestions.

Pay

Salary range: $72,000 - $105,600
