Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Rewrite and redesign procedure and user documentation.
- Migrate content from SharePoint to a new, organized Confluence documentation library.
- Develop intuitive page hierarchies, templates, navigation, and labeling within Confluence.
- Standardize page layouts and improve searchability to ensure documentation is easy to consume and maintain.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, clarify, and validate technical information.
- Create mixed-media training and onboarding materials, including quick-start guides, how-to articles, and reference sheets.
- Ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with updated documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of technical writing experience.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Confluence. Familiarity with SharePoint pages, lists, and document libraries. Strong ability to simplify and structure complex processes. Experience with documentation redesign, cleanup, or migration is highly preferred.
- Excellent interviewing, organization, and content-structuring skills. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with technical Business Continuity and Operational Resiliency concepts.
- Understanding of the relationship and flow between Policy, Standards, Process, and Procedures.
