About the role

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Automation Developer, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. The IS&T Business Process Automation Developer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining or supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Open to external candidates. The selected candidate may be required to occasionally work outside normal business hours for application upgrades. This position is predominantly allocated to the Tools Team Key Offering, functioning as an agile strike capability dedicated to rapid-turnaround, high-return-on-investment (ROI) process modernization. The primary objective is delivering rapid low-code/no-code applications, automated workflows, and executive analytics that eliminate operational bottlenecks, ensure compliance, and streamline execution across test operations and mission support. Additionally, this role provides technical troubleshooting, integration support, and maintenance for core enterprise business systems as operational priorities dictate. Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is a fully populated joint venture of Astrion and Fluor Federal Services, Inc. formed to provide unmatched Test Operations and Sustainment services for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex.

Responsibilities

• High-ROI Solution Delivery: Rapidly architect, build, and deploy low-code solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) targeted at high-visibility operational choke points.
• Rapid-Turnaround Prototyping: Execute rapid-prototyping lifecycles to replace manual spreadsheets, disjointed paper processes, and informal tracking sheets with auditable, modern digital tools.
• Workflow Modernization: Build scheduled, event-driven, and instant automated workflows in Power Automate to orchestrate approval routing, data validation, work-order status updates, and notifications across disparate operational environments.
• Decision Support Analytics: Develop interactive Power BI dashboards that transform raw aerospace test metrics, project schedules, and financial cost-accounting data into clear, actionable visualizations for Section Supervisors and Executive Leadership.
• Enterprise Business Systems Support Core Systems Support: Provide functional and data-interface support for enterprise platforms.
• Data Integration: Establish and maintain secure, reliable connectors between Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint lists, Dataverse, and downstream database repositories.
• Software Baseline Verification: Perform pre-deployment testing, functional checks, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Governance Alignment: Coordinate with local Power Platform Governance bodies to ensure all Tools Team deliverables adhere to established tenant policies, naming conventions, and data loss prevention (DLP) rules.
• Security Adherence: Maintain absolute compliance with AEDC closed-area custodianship, information handling protocols, and Information Assurance mandates.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interface directly with Military, Civil Service, Test Directors, and Contractor personnel to capture requirements, define technical acceptance criteria, and deliver targeted training for newly deployed tools.
• Maintains comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and security models.
• Performs other related duties as required.
