Process Control System Evaluator - Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package
About the role
We are seeking a Process Control Systems Tech (PCST) Test Analyst and Evaluator with process control, instrumentation and automation background to join our Industrial Certification Division.
Industrial Certification Division plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing job certification standards across Saudi Aramco. Its broader purpose centers on ensuring that industrial and administrative employees meet or exceed the required competencies for their current and target roles, as defined by the company's Job Task Standards (JTS).
Responsibilities
- Assist line organizations in developing PCST recertification tests; including databases, assessments, graphics, blueprints and test items.
- Serve as an PCST recertification test analyst to review or develop recertification tests with assigned SMEs as per operations standards (OEMs) and engineering guidelines.
- Serve as a Process Control Test analyst to review or develop recertification tests as per Corporate Maintenance Standards with corporate selected SMEs.
- Conduct pilot tests on newly published or modified recertification tests to verify accuracy of the test items.
- Verify the validity and activation of PCST recertification tests and corporate Process Control Technician test items and assessments in SuccessFactors (SFs) and QM server.
- Collaborate with and support line organizations to maintain test integrity.
- Conduct a third-party Job Task Standard (JTS) evaluation for Process Control Systems Technician employees as per guidelines and share detailed reports with proponents with improvement opportunities.
- Provide Job certification awareness sessions to proponents and timely address any concerns.
- Support the recertification test administration and proctor recertification tests at different locations, as needed.
- Prepare reports for Job certification competency index for proponent organizations and share improvement opportunities with line management.
- Maintain test integrity by monitoring, tracking and verifying test requests, test attempts, retests, candidate test eligibility, test discrepancies and test violations.
- Complete special project assignments requested by the Supervisor or respective Group Leader.
Requirements
- You will hold a Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field from a recognized and approved university.
- A minimum experience of 10 years in Oil and Gas process control systems and plant operations.
- A minimum experience of 3 years in industrial or vocational training, curriculum development and writing.
- Proficient in Computer skills such as Microsoft apps, Adobe apps and business apps.
- Demonstrable communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related field from a recognized and approved university.
