Process Control Engineer
What's the Job?
Support unit operations by maintaining and enhancing process control applications and assets.
Develop, modify, and tune control strategies to optimize the operation of assigned processing units.
Provide technical expertise for control applications, including advanced control for multi-variable controllers.
Assist in the development of new control strategies for new projects or products.
Monitor unit operations and collaborate with process engineering to meet production, quality, and energy targets.
What's Needed?
- Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Process controls or operations engineering experience in a petrochemical or refining environment.
- Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with DCS systems such as Foxboro IA (Invensys) or Emerson Delta V preferred.
- Experience with PLCs (Triconex or GE Fanuc / Mark V, VII preferred) and control network management.
