Process Control Engineer

About the Role

This position focuses on project management within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment. Key contributions include coordinating projects, analyzing technical data, and supporting execution across operations, quality, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Review project priorities, emails, and open action items
• Coordinate with operations, quality, and maintenance on active issues
• Analyze metallurgical or mechanical data (tests, drawings, equipment performance)
• Support project execution (design reviews, supplier coordination, schedule updates)
• Provide shop floor or manufacturing support and troubleshooting
• Document decisions, update project trackers, and communicate next steps

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering discipline
• Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or industrial equipment environments
• Working knowledge of metallurgical processes and mechanical systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willing to consider candidates with a 2-year degree and 7+ years of experience
• Willing to consider candidates with a Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience

Pay

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $43.00 - $44.00 per hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay range, are determined by factors including relevant skills, education, and experience.
