Process Assistant, Grocery Fulfillment Centers

About the role

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as a Process Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate others
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week, with overtime as required
• Able to lift 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Able to continuously climb and descend stairs
• Ability to work in an environment where noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments; grocery locations include refrigerated environments)

Grocery Fulfillment Centers are facilities that house Amazon's selection of fresh food and other specialty products. These multi-temperature facilities support our same-day delivery service. At our fulfillment centers, you'll focus on safety in all stocking and sorting tasks, while helping to develop best practices. Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year working in a similar environment (manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or retail)

Pay

The starting pay for this position is $26.50 USD per hour (range $26.50–$26.50). Additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay based on shift selection and location.
