Process Assistant

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Process Assistants with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Responsibilities

• Production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks
• Communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• High school or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Work environment

• Commitment to providing a safe work environment – wear a reflective vest, stretch and recognize others for working safely
• Relaxed, casual dress code (as long as your attire meets safety requirements)
• Climate-controlled sites, but noise and temperature levels can vary day to day; hearing protection is available
• May be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet, or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
• May be asked to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay

Starting pay: $24.00 - $24.00 USD hourly (includes base pay rate plus highest available shift differential; final pay based on shift selection and location).
