Procedural Support Assistant - Vascular Center

Role Overview: The Ambulatory Procedural Assistant supports the vascular team by assisting with patient care, procedures, and therapies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by verifying identity and assisting with positioning.Support procedures by preparing equipment, managing specimens, taking vital signs, and documenting information.Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning exam rooms, dismantling equipment, and inspecting for safety issues.Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient care and equipment needs.Demonstrate understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and equipment setup. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED and two years of recent patient care experience (e.g., clinical assistant, nursing assistant, LPN).Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and basic computer skills preferred.Current Basic Life Support certification from AHA or ARC required. Additional Details: This is a full-time, nonexempt role with a pay rate of $20.98 - $29.19/hour, with benefits included. The schedule involves day shifts on weekdays with no weekend or international assignments. The position requires maintaining competency in equipment and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
