Procedural Inventory Coordinator I Saint Vincent Hospital

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversees the entry and maintenance of high cost inventory into AHN's perpetual inventory management system.
• Ensures appropriate business practices are adhered throughout the inventory life cycle.
• Provides feedback on current state processes to Materials Manager for enhancement opportunities.
• Places orders for high dollar surgical supplies based upon reorder threshold report.
• Works with procurement and suppliers to obtain backorder ETAs.
• Works closely with inventory analyst and department leadership to establish, refine and maintain appropriate inventory carrying levels.
• Conducts routine inventory utilization reviews with Materials Manager and Department leadership.
• Conducts ad hoc and scheduled cycle counts on all perpetual inventory locations.
• Utilizes root cause analysis to address inventory variances and identify process deficiencies.
• Escalates process deficiencies to supply chain leadership and department leadership as warranted.
