Internship Details
Time: Interns must commit to a minimum 3 month window and be available to work ALL game days from August - November 2026 (some exceptions may apply depending on school schedule and prior written notice of an approved absence).

Qualifications
- Interns must attend every Spokane Velocity FC home game (listed above) within their commitment window, + additional pre-game meeting office hours (unless pre-approved absence).
- Interns should be motivated to represent the Aequus Sports brand.
- Interns will attend pre-game prep meetings & have regularly scheduled front-office hours.
- Interns will gain experience across multiple fields, but the departments with the highest needs are:
- Soccer Operations (2)
- Equipment Management (1)
- Match Day & Show Assistance (1-2)
- Marketing- General (1-2)
- Videography (1)
- PR/Writing (1)
- Merchandise (1)
- Ticketing & Sales (1)
- Partnerships (1)
- Community Engagement (1)
Studies & Majors
- Most Common Studies & Majors of Interns (not all listed): Sports Management, Marketing, Event Planning, Communications, Journalism, Photography/Videography, Graphic Designers, Business, Finance, Theatre Production, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training
Additional Opportunities
- Interns may have additional opportunities to assist in Aequus Sports community events.
- Interns may fulfill duties including, but not limited to: gameday setup & teardown, club ambassador, field prep, game themes, general operations, hospitality representatives, stat tracking, fulfillment tracking, digital marketing, and more.
Specialty Positions
- Aequus Sports is also seeking interns for specialty positions, including:
- Photographers:
- Shoot action during home matches for marketing/news purposes
- Videographers:
- Shoot action during home matches for marketing/news purposes
- Live Shots for video board (for more information contact directly)
- News & Content Writer:
- Prepare pre-match materials such as game notes for media and broadcast partners, watch home (in stadium) and away matches (streaming) and submit post-match story
- Fan Engagement and Promotions
- Social Media Specialist
- Media Relations
Requirements for Consideration
- College-applicable internship credits
- Reliable transportation to One Spokane Stadium and front office in Downtown Spokane.
