Pro Shop Cashier

General Purpose

Aids golfers in checking in for their round of golf.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Books tee times
• Rents golf equipment
• Sets up and assigns golf carts and tee times
• Sells shop merchandise
• Opens, closes, and secures the Pro Shop and carts
• Keeps shelves stocked and work areas clean
• Discusses merchandise and equipment ordering with management
• Opens and closes cash register, cashes out daily income, makes daily deposits, and enters into ledger
• Affords assistance to all customers as necessary
• Organizes groups on the 1st tee, shares course information, and starts them on time
• Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Helps manage cart attendants and volunteer marshals.
