Pro Shop Assistant
About the role
Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos, TX seeks a Pro Shop Assistant to support the golf professionals and maintain smooth daily operations. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn and contribute within a fast-paced hospitality environment. As part of Troon, you’ll join a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, implement, and adhere to company goals, policies, procedures, and controls
- Assist golf professionals with golfer check-in and maintain an accurate tee sheet and pace of play
- Receive merchandise and follow purchase order procedures
- Rotate shop displays and maintain an organized stock room
- Assist with stock management, pricing, inventory counts, and cleanliness of the golf shop
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional
- Provide exceptional service to meet guest expectations and go the extra mile
- Work weekend shifts and afternoon/evening shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM or sunset
Experience / Education / Certification Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Fluency in speaking and writing English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive motion including computer entry
- Ability to operate a golf car safely
- Normal vision and hearing required
