Pro Sales Specialist - Germantown

About the role

As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You’ll build relationships with local pros, collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps, and ensure professional customers receive exceptional service—from selecting the right products to quick checkout so they can get back to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Depot Pro Desk and introduce yourself to contractors to understand their business and needs.
• Maintain and follow up on customer relationships regarding their jobs and future needs.
• Collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps to fulfill in-store customer orders, including pulling and tinting paint (occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs required).
• Work professionally with Home Depot staff to maintain a mutually beneficial vendor relationship.
• Enter leads and contacts into Salesforce, Behr’s customer relationship management tool.
• Provide a seamless paint store experience for professional customers, including mixing paint, gathering tools, and expediting checkout.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and self-starter mindset.
• Basic computer skills (prior experience with Salesforce or similar tools is a plus).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
• Bilingual ability is a bonus but not required.

Pay

Hiring range: $24.85 - $38.94 USD per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.

Schedule

Work hours vary based on peak selling times, including weekends, holidays, and shifts extending until 7 p.m.
