About the role
As our Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You’ll build relationships with local pros who rely on Behr for excellent products and exceptional customer service. When contractors visit the store, you’ll collaborate with them to select the right products, mix paint, gather any additional tools they need, and ensure they get in and out quickly so they can return to work.
Responsibilities
- Support the Home Depot Pro Desk and introduce yourself to contractors to understand their business and needs.
- Maintain and follow up on relationships with professional customers regarding their jobs and future needs.
- Collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps to assist customers in-store, including pulling and tinting orders for pickup.
- Work closely with Home Depot staff as part of a unified team, maintaining a professional and helpful vendor relationship.
- Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce, our customer relationship management tool.
- Provide exceptional service to professional contractors, ensuring they have a seamless paint store experience.
Requirements
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Self-starter mentality, able to identify and address needs proactively.
- Basic computer skills (prior experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus).
- Bilingual ability is a bonus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay
Hiring range: $22.75 - $35.75 USD per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.
