Pro Sales Associate - Marietta

About the role

As a Pro Paint Specialist with Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You’ll build relationships with local pros, assist them with product selection, mix paint, gather necessary tools, and ensure they have a quick and efficient experience. This role is ideal for self-starters with an outgoing personality and a genuine interest in helping customers—no prior paint or sales experience is required, as we provide full training.

Responsibilities

• Introduce yourself to contractors in the store, get to know their business, and understand their needs.
• Maintain and follow up on relationships with professional customers regarding their jobs and future needs.
• Collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps to fulfill customer orders, including pulling and tinting paint (occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs required).
• Work closely with Home Depot staff to maintain a professional and mutually beneficial relationship.
• Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce, Behr’s customer relationship management tool.
• Provide exceptional service to professional customers, ensuring they feel supported and valued.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter mentality—ability to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Basic computer skills (prior experience with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Bilingual abilities are a bonus but not required.

Pay

Hiring range: $20.70 - $32.45 USD per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills.
