Pro Sales Associate - Dallas

About the role

As a Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you’ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You’ll build relationships with local pros, collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps, and ensure professional customers receive exceptional service—from selecting the right products to mixing paint and gathering tools—so they can quickly return to work.

Responsibilities

• Introduce yourself to contractors at the Home Depot Pro Desk, get to know their business, and maintain ongoing relationships by following up on their jobs and future needs.
• Collaborate with Behr’s outside sales reps to assist customers in-store, including pulling and tinting orders for pickup (occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs required).
• Work closely with Home Depot staff as part of a unified team, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
• Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce, Behr’s customer relationship management tool.
• Provide a seamless paint store experience for professional customers, ensuring they leave with the right products and tools efficiently.

Requirements

• Approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping customers.
• Outgoing personality with a positive attitude to initiate conversations with strangers.
• Self-starter mindset to jump in and assist wherever needed.
• Basic computer skills to use customer management software (training provided).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish (a bonus but not required).

Schedule

Work hours vary based on peak selling times, including weekends, holidays, and shifts that may extend until 7 p.m.

Pay

Hiring range: $20.70 - $32.45 USD per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and skills. Bonus opportunities available based on sales performance.
