About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
- Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Providing therapy services, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatments as needed.
- Instructing clients in therapeutic exercises and offering consultations.
- Ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and quality requirements.
- Documenting clinical activities per departmental guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, case managers, and other stakeholders.
- Supervising assistants, aides, and students, and providing peer education.
- Participating in departmental activities and outreach efforts.
Qualifications
- Appropriate educational background per state licensure requirements.
- Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
- Preferred certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid driver's license, if applicable.
- Required competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
