PRN Speech Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat clients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapy services, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Instructing clients in therapeutic exercises and offering consultations.
• Ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and quality requirements.
• Documenting clinical activities per departmental guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers, case managers, and other stakeholders.
• Supervising assistants, aides, and students, and providing peer education.
• Participating in departmental activities and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• Appropriate educational background per state licensure requirements.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• Preferred certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or working toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid driver's license, if applicable.
• Required competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
