PRN Speech Therapist

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry-over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
