PRN Speech Language Pathologist
About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation Speech Therapist, you will be a part of a growing team. Your responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients by following an individualized plan of care after an evaluation. You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills are essential, as are the abilities to work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients by following an individualized plan of care following an evaluation.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate in a SNF setting.
- Show strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills, working well with others and communicating effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members.
- Administer standardized speech/language assessments.
- Conduct swallowing evaluations.
- Develop treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.
