Responsibilities
- Screening, assessment, or re-assessment
- Treatment planning or discharge planning meetings
- Individual psychotherapy/psychoeducational sessions
- Group psychotherapy/psychoeducational sessions
- Individual substance use counseling sessions
- Group substance use counseling sessions
- Ad hoc problem solving and crisis management involving Deaf clients
- Visits with legal guardian and/or interested family
Requirements
- Prior experience providing care for clients diagnosed with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual developmental disorders
- Willingness to work up to 19 hours a week, no more than 1039 annually, as needed
- Licensed and certified in the state of Missouri (Comprehensive or Advanced level preferred)
- Completed Introduction to Mental Health Interpreting training from dmh.mo.gov/deafservices/training
