PRN Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced respiratory care primarily in critical care settings, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments.
• Administers medications.
• Educates patients and families.
• Collaborates with healthcare teams to plan and deliver quality care.
• Serves as preceptor for new staff and students.
• Promotes evidence-based practices.
• Participates in performance improvement projects.
• Performs invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Interprets waveform graphics.
• Ensures patient safety through accurate documentation and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Certifications such as NBRC‑RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Computer skills.
