PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist II - NICU @ Cobb Hospital

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, manage ventilators, administer medications, and conduct diagnostic procedures. Educate patients and support staff, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure patient safety through adherence to protocols and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures, airway management, and pulmonary testing. Promote evidence-based practice and maintain accurate documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care; Registered Respiratory Therapist certification; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care. Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
