PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist II - NICU @ Cobb Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments
• Manage ventilators
• Administer medications
• Conduct diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and support staff
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Ensure patient safety through adherence to protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• Participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Airway management
• Pulmonary testing
• Promote evidence-based practice
• Maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care
• Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• 0-2 years clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care
• Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
