PRN Registered Nurse

Position Overview

The PRN Medication Pass Nurse will be responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and providing skilled nursing support during designated medication administration hours.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and medication effectiveness
• Maintain accurate medication administration records (MARs)
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to appropriate team members
• Follow all nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Schedule

• PRN position with 4-hour shifts from 11am to 3pm
• 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN License in SC or compact license
• Proficient computer skills and workplace software knowledge
• Work with people, function well under stress, use clinical judgment, be creative and accept challenges
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Medication administration experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
