PRN Physician
About the role
The Physician serves as a health-care professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps medical history and medical records. Refers patients to specialists as needed. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, with work performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient medical care with focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
- Maintain medical history and medical records
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Influence department strategy
- Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- This role is patient-facing and part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; selected candidates must be screened for TB
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two+ years of experience
- 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
Schedule
- PRN Physician opportunity covering three outpatient clinic locations
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Preferred availability of at least three days per week
- Schedule based on clinic coverage needs; hours are not guaranteed
- Must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations
- Direct W-2 employment with the organization (not a 1099 position)

Pay
$310,000 - $368,500 per year (based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, and geographic location)
