About the role
The Physician serves as a healthcare professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems, focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Responsibilities involve moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The role includes maintaining medical histories and records, referring patients to specialists as needed, and influencing department strategy with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care with a focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
- Maintain medical histories and records for patients.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues.
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical approaches and objectives for assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 or more years of technical experience.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Must be part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program and complete TB screening if selected.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two or more years of experience.
- 1+ years of experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients.
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
Schedule
- PRN Physician opportunity covering three outpatient clinic locations.
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Preferred availability of at least three days per week.
- Schedule based on clinic coverage needs; hours are not guaranteed.
- Must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations.
Locations: CenterWell Arlington, 2562 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Pantego, TX 76013; Seminary, 4200 South Fwy, Suite 1990, Fort Worth, TX 76115; and Camp Bowie West, 9108 Camp Bowie West, Fort Worth, TX 76116.
Pay
The pay range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The range may vary based on geographic location and individual pay will depend on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
$310,000 - $368,500 per year.
