PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Communicate with patients about their treatments and document patient conditions and responses in charts after each session.
• Maintain open lines of communication with Physical Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
