About the role

As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapy assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. You will be part of a growing team that focuses on providing high-quality, individualized care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
  • Aid patients through all phases of their physical therapy treatment and techniques.
  • Communicate with patients about their treatment plans and document their conditions and responses in patient charts after each session.
  • Work closely with physical therapists, directors, and facility staff to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
  • Compliance with state licensing requirements.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment and techniques.
